XnView Tips (in the options menu):

  • Browser->File List->Show hidden files and folders
  • Browser->Preview->Disable-Autoplay audio/video
  • Browser->Preview->Disable-Show first frame for videos
  • View->Misc-disable "Play movie" and "Play sound"
  • View->Misc->Keep current image in cache
