Super OS and offline freedom
Super OS tries to be has much "offline friendly" as possible (allowing offline computing), here are some features that make it more usable for users without a good internet connection, or for users that care about offline independency, and freedom.

Why
It is important to care about "offline freedom", because with "Software as a service" and "cloud computing" people might be depending on a service that is out of their control, and that might stop being provided at any time for a variety of reasons. But make no mistake, I am not against "cloud computing" in general, I think it is a great idea to be able to out-source your computing, however, I care deeply about also having a local copy of the programs/tools I need, fully installable and usable offline.
Implemented
- By default, the system tries to cover the basic needs, like document editing, audio/video playback, etc...
- Compressed files are packed with the maximum compression level, to ensure smaller download sizes
- Releases are available in torrent format, making it easier to download and resume for users with limited/unstable internet connection
- Super OS local repository, containing Nvidia, ATI and Broadcom drivers
- SuperDeb Creator makes installers that can be used offline (out-of-the-box), unlike many .deb files
Partially implemented
- Offer pre-made SuperDebs that can be installed offline
- Portable Apps usually do not require the install of dependencies, making them ideal for offline use.
Not implemented yet
- Full Super OS repository and Medibuntu repository offered as a download packages, to be shared on CD/DVD/USB/etc among friends that don't have a good internet connection
