Super OS 9.10 (formerly: Super Ubuntu)

Super OS (formerly: Super Ubuntu) is just a modified version of Ubuntu 9.10 (see: Super OS and Ubuntu) with the goal of making it more usable and trying to remain compatible with Ubuntu.

Live USB

To create a Live USB (bootable USB flash drive), just use one of the programs bellow:

Wubi

Wubi was removed from Super OS 9.10 because some ubuntu updates "kill" wubi ([1] [2]) and wubi was not working. Wubi is expected to be re-introduced in Super OS 10.04

Download

Download Super OS from one of the following locations:

Super OS 10.04

  • Super OS 10.04 is expected to be released in June or July of 2010 the last days of July. --hacktolive 17:53, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
  • It is expected to have 32 bits and 64 bits editions
  • It will have a local repository, see: Super OS local repository. It will have .deb packages in the APT cache
  • Will include RPM-installer
  • A beta version can be found here: Super OS 10.04 beta
