This tutorial explains how to create a Live USB of Fedora, in Windows

How to do it

  1. Download the Fedora Live USB creator from: https://fedorahosted.org/liveusb-creator
  2. Extract the .zip file you downloaded
  3. Plug an empty USB flash drive on your computer
  4. open the file liveusb-creator.exe (it should be in the folder you just extracted...)
  5. Now, if you already have a Fedora Live CD, just click "Browse", if not, just leave the option “Download Fedora”, and the program it download the .iso of Fedora for you...
  6. Choose the letter of your USB pen drive in “Target device
  7. The "Persistent Overlay" lets you allocate extra space on your USB stick, allowing you to save files and make modifications to your live operating system that will persist after you reboot. This essentially lets you carry your own personalized Fedora with you at all times. (Note: only works with Fedora 9+)
  8. Click “Create Live USB”
  9. You are done!

Notes

  • This does not format your USB Pendrive
