WE need an upgrade without reinstall.
Robert

hacktolive says:
You can upgrade without re-install, however, that does not work offline. I have considered an offline "upgrade pack", but there are some issues I am not sure how to solve (mainly, the fact that it is impossible to know what software the user has installed, so new versions of it can the packaged and offered in a upgrade pack)
Cheers

I tried running 9.10 off the disk onto another computer, and the resolution for the monitor was all messed. up. So maybe some extra resolution options. At 1024 x 768 it was trying to do 61 hertz refresh rate.

hacktolive says:
If you installed Nvidia or ATI closed drivers you will have problems running your HDD/LiveUSB on other computers. I can't add "some extra resolution options", you would have to ask the Ubuntu developers...

Hey thanks for the e-mail and link! Took a while for a response but greatful for it.

I noticed in 9.10 when using firefox it would seem to glitch video wise where it doesn't in the live ubuntu. I would imagine it's either java or flash as it happened on a java based internet game.

hacktolive says:
Yes, probably a Java (or Flash) issue

Congratulations on SUPER OS being number one! I certainly appreciate you creating an OS that is nearly 100% plug and play on my Lenovo 3000 N100. (no webcam except in Skype) No other Linux OS comes close. I have no Linux skills other than installing it to a flash drive and booting up. Super OS is truly a masterpiece of ease of use and performance. Why couldn't Bill Gates after all these years get it right with win-blows? Why does he charge for defective buggy software? I don't get it. Thanks for the best OS ever.

Agree with goofa6641 - better experience than Windows7, Live CD works with both my Acer laptops (Aspire 7520 and Travelmate 2423) from Wireless, Video and sound down to Bluetooth and ENECIR support.

I will be loading Super OS on all my machines in the near future and running my old Windows systems as VMs.

Good luck for the future, and thanks.

hey it will be great if you can make some kind of NLITE for ubuntu , so ppl can make their own super OS or please leave a link with a export file from synaptic so we can install all software need it to turn ubuntu in super OS.
if anybody knows how to make that please email me.

hacktolive says:
The closest thing to "nlite for Ubuntu" is remastersys. An export file for Synaptic would not be useful because you would need the Super OS repository. However, you can install the Super OS repository, and then install the "super-os" package: This will install all the software included in Super OS
