Super Ubuntu 2008.10 is out!

Based on Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex), with lots of new cool features!

*Now includes Wubi (to install on Windows)
*Multi-language support: the Live CD now contains all the languages included in Ubuntu
*Includes a Live USB creator
*OpenOffice.org 3
*It is now made with reconstructor
*And many other updates and features!

Ubuntu Super Edition is out!

I’m very glad to announce the release of Ubuntu Super Edition! (version 2008.7)

It is a Live DVD/install DVD of ubuntu, but with many cool stuff added, including media players, codecs, browsers, Adobe flash player, wine, java, WinRAR (trial version), aMule, Skype, aMSN, and it also has the ability to open Microsoft Office 2007 files (.docx, .xlsx…), a full list of features is at the homepage.

It is available as an ISO file, VMware Image, and VirtualBox image, so you have lots of choices!

Unfortunately it has some minor shortcomings, maybe the biggest one being the absence of Wubi (for a full list see: Known problems of Ubuntu Super Edition)
