hi there!!
is there any hope for a superDeb creator release for super os 10.10??
i noticed that you decided to release 10.10 without gimp – which i can’t really understand, since it would complete super os’s out-of-the-box multimedia functionality (so big vote for gimp here ^^)..
so i thought i could just use superDeb creator to install it (along with some other handy programs
however at the moment it only seems to support 10.04…
is there a new version of it in the plans??
greetings and best wishes,
rowena

The latest SuperDeb Creator already supports Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 (alpha 1), so I hope it is useful to you!

hey!!
tried to install it – but unfortunately it fails
(some integer error – i don’t use super os on this pc – but i could send the error message, if you want to… would require some pen and paper work ^^)
anyways… tried it with the x64 version of super os 10.10 – live as well as installed (updates didn’t change anything either o.O)
one thing that makes me wonder is the filesize.. it’s about 3 mb – but the older version of super deb creator in ubuntu’s software shop is about 27 mb o.O
sorry for bringing up issues
hope it’s just an issue with my pc o.O
wish you a wonderful weekend – and thanks for creating the best os out there

Unfortunately Ubuntu (and therefore Super OS) does not work on all computers :/
There isn’t much I can do. If you really want to make it work, I suggest you grab yourself the original Ubuntu, copy/log/save all the errors/problems you have and send it to them, maybe they will fix it in a next version.
Regarding SuperDeb Creator, I previously included some totally unnecessary files that are no longer present, hence the size reduction, it once was around 20MB, but I made some tricks with apt and now i don’t need a chroot anymore
