Portable Firefox 3.5 for Linux – Ubuntu
July 01, 2009Just packed a portable version of Firefox 3.5 in RUNZ format
This mean you can test and use the new Firefox without having to wait for it to get into the repositories!
This has support for the RUNZ Sandbox (to make the settings portable, so you can use the this app on USB flash drives, etc…)
Tested on: Ubuntu 9.04 and Super OS 9.04
Grab it on the page of my Linux portables

Well, I’m afraid I can’t help much… All I did was create a wrapper/container for the original Firefox. I have not modified a single bit of Firefox. Make sure you have Firefox 3.0 closed and try to create the sandbox. This might also be a problem related to proxies (if you use them).
