I’m very glad to announce the release of Ubuntu Super Edition! (version 2008.7)
It is a Live DVD/install DVD of ubuntu, but with many cool stuff added, including media players, codecs, browsers, Adobe flash player, wine, java, WinRAR (trial version), aMule, Skype, aMSN, and it also has the ability to open Microsoft Office 2007 files (.docx, .xlsx…), a full list of features is at the homepage.
It is available as an ISO file, VMware Image, and VirtualBox image, so you have lots of choices!
Unfortunately it has some minor shortcomings, maybe the biggest one being the absence of Wubi (for a full list see: Known problems of Ubuntu Super Edition)

I’ts official!
hacktolive.org is now “open”!
This website started as a blog, in a free blogging service, but everything was so buggy from day to day, that I decided to make my own website, so here it is, after almost a month of tweaking and learning, this website comes out of the “beta”. Is has two sections, a blog (this!) and a wiki, the main website.
It was supposed to be only a blog were I would post some tutorials and other stuff, but I decided to use the wiki model… The wiki itself is closed and only I have the “keys” to enter and edit! Sorry guys! I would like very much to be open to contributions, but the current model would simply not work and would sure be completly “vandalized”, at least you know what you see has been “approved”…
And anyone can contact me, if you see a mistake, want to contribute with material, or just want to say something meaningfull, just go to:
